Entrepreneurs Helping Entrepreneurs: Calumet Venture Fund was founded by two entrepreneurs, Tim Williams and Judy Owen, to fund early stage companies with innovative products.

Tim and Judy each have over 30 years of operational experience and over 20 years of startup involvement in Silicon Valley, California.

Fund Focus: The fund focuses on Information Technology (IT) solutions which create efficiencies in Corporate Enterprises, Education and Health Care Organizations; Software as a Service Solutions and Web. 2.0 Applications; and innovative Mobile and Communication Products.

Geographic Focus: We will make investments in the Midwest and on the West coast. We believe there is significant opportunity for successful investments in the Midwest (Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, and Minnesota) due to availability of world-class Universities, good work ethic base, and high quality of living advantages. Our experience on the West Coast can significantly enhance our Midwest deals by connecting them to people, customers and companies.
